I miss my parents. Too much according to some. But I simply can’t move on.

Welcome and have a seat

Hello! Kind of you to drop by.

First, allow me to address that title.

Yes, I wept. Many times. Why? Because I watched the movies many times. I was the epitome of a Titanic fan. At one point, I memorized all the dialogs. Obviously, I did the “I am the king of the world. Woooah!” scene when no one was looking.

Ok! Let's continue.

I am rather melancholic by nature, but interestingly, I have a high level of self-awareness. It can be quite a torture, knowing that I shouldn't be so emo but having little control over it.

Yet this predicament gives me the power of choice. Because of my awareness, I choose to fight the negative vibes. Hopeful that one day the universe will respond to my perseverance.

I was in banking for over a decade, specializing in learning and development. It was a wonderful journey, and I got to work with so many people on their professional skills. Hundreds!

Unfortunately, my health sprung me a nasty surprise, so here I am!

When I get the chance to daydream, I often envision a society where everyone is kind to one another. I always tell others, life is tough, don’t make it worse.

I love to watch films and read books. Especially those with an emotional overtone. I often imagine myself to be one of the characters. Sometimes, I see the scenes in the surroundings. Horses may gallop past me in the park or I see zombies screeching across the road.

It is all in my head, of course. 😅

This brings me to the reason I am writing!

When I write, my imagination comes to life in the stories I tell. My hopes, visions, sorrows, and fears find someone who kindly stops and listens.

Isn’t it wonderful?

Writing on Medium and getting to know you is one of the best things that happened to me in my life. I am not exaggerating here.

Thank you for being here!

My most read story

In this story, I wrote about the horrors of starvation. I feel sad that even with the abundance of food available, people are still dying from starvation. This has to stop.

The story with the most tears shed while writing

I find it hard to let go of my late parents. It is made worse by the circumstances I am in. Sometimes it feels like I am being punished for something I did.

The story no one wants to read

I saw a woman who blocked a bus from entering the bus bay. She remained on the road, ignoring the dangers involved. People can be rather strange at times.

That is all for now. Thank you for your time.

Be kind to yourself and others!

Keep in touch ok?

I write full-time for you as it gives me purpose in life.
Your support helps me to worry less about putting food on the table.
